I am deeply saddened and shocked to hear about Skippy as we knew him growing up in Toccoa. We were all friends in FBC and THS and I was so very fond of him and his wonderful parents. We were just one big family in those days in Toccoa. I remember the loss of Mrs. Wills as she was very young! My deepest sympathy now for the loss of George – God’s greatest blessings to you, his family!

  10. Louise and Wesley,
I am so sorry for the loss of George. I have some very fond memories of times I spent with you all, and I know he will be missed. Wesley, I want you to know I understand your pain. I lost my own father almost 5 years ago. It gets easier to deal as time goes on, but there will always be those “if only” moments. Just know that in those moments when you miss him the most, God allows you to speak to him, and in your heart, you can hear him. I wish your family all the peace and love that God can provide.

He was such a caring gentleman and I have many memories of him always visiting mom and dad at the courthouse. He was one of their best buddies, as my mom said. Condolences to you at this difficult time.
