Louvie Mae Ervin Pritchett, 75, of the Plainview Community, passed away Tuesday morning, April 25, 2017, at her residence.

Born December 8, 1941, in the Bold Springs Community, she was the daughter of the late John Lester and Emma Mae Croker Ervin. She was the widow of the late James Wilburn Pritchett, and mother of the lat Ricky Pritchett and Terry “Buck” Pritchett.  She was the sister of the late Anna Bell Morgan, and the late Boyd Ervin. She was retired from the Fieldale Corporation of Cornelia.   She was a beloved member of the New Bethel Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Nelson and Kathy Pritchett, of Mt Airy, and Stanley and Jennifer Pritchett, of Homer; two daughters and son-in-law, Cindy and Tommy Purdy, of Mt Airy, and Karen Stryker, of Homer; six grandchildren,  Candace, Rhianna, Tyler, Autumn Belle, R J, and Brittany; five great-grandchildren,  Brayden, Marley, Cali, Chase, and Brooklyn; three brothers, Otha Ervin, Carnesville, Charles Ervin, Sharpsburg, GA, and Billy Ervin, Commerce; three sisters, Rachel Stephens, Simpsonville, SC, Dot Garner, Baldwin, and Evelyn McCoy, Cornelia.

Services will be Thursday afternoon at 2pm at the New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Stewart and Rev. Tommy Childress.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.

The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home and will be placed in the church at 1:30 Thursday afternoon.  The family is at the home. They will receive friends from 2 until 4 and from 6 until 8pm Wednesday at the funeral home.  Condolences may be left at ginnfuneralhome.com.

    Karen, Cindy, Nelson & Stanley and all your Childrens. Mother Louvie was the most sweetest person I know .I will never forget the love she gave to me and all the memory of growing up with you’ll . Mom is
    free of pain and is one of God Angels .If you every need me I’m just a little ways down the road.You’ll will be in my prayers I love you all .

  3. My thoughts and prayers for all of Louvie’s family. We worked together @Fieldale for 15+ years. I loved her as my second mom. I also worked with Nelson and had met Karen & Cindy & of course sister Dot and Paul. Love and prayers for all of you.
