    Donnie,

You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this sad time. Your Mother was a very sweet and caring individual and she will be missed greatly. May God bless and comfort you during this time.

  6. Donnie, Sharon, and Family, I am so sorry to learn of your sorrow. When we visited with Mary a couple of weeks ago and saw her spirits so low because she was not able to walk anymore we were very concern, but never dreamed she would leave us so soon. Mary always wore a smile, loved everyone, had the most faith, the greatest prayer warrior, and the best friend anyone could ever wish for. Along with everyone else I will truly miss her. She always wore her angel pins and now she is our graudian angel. May God give each of you the comfort and needed strength now and for the days to come.

I cannot remember a time in my growing up years that Mary was not a part of it. I attended Carnesville Methodist Church, as she did, a most devoted child of God, who never stopped giving love, care and comfort. I am thankful I was able to attend the final service at CMC and had a visit with Mary and Sharon. A precious lady who now is in her heavenly home and singing in God’s chorus.

  8. Mary Payne was an amazing person and had a heart the size of the moon! She truly loved all of the kids in our schools and the staff that she worked with. I saw her as a grandmother and I loved Mrs. Payne and she will truly be missed!

  9. Mary was like everyone’s Mother at Carnesville UMC. She loved music and always sang along when we sang the “old-timey” hymns! I always remember how much I loved hearing her pray…it was as though she was having a little chat directly with God! Now she’s right there beside him….

  10. Our sympathies go out to Donnie and Sharon and family at this time of loss. Though we didn’t know Mrs. Payne, by all the accounts spoken by her son, Donnie, she was a wonderful lady. She lived an independent life for many years and she will be missed, but not forgotten. May God Bless all especially Donnie at this time. Sincerely, Tom and Dolores Libby

The women of Bold Spring UMW were blessed to have Mary attend many of our meetings and special events. She always enjoyed visiting with everyone and had a kind word to share. 16. I will always remember, while we were at The Carnesville and Vanna churches. Ms. Mary would go with us to some functions at Vanna. One of those times she was sitting next to me and ask me what that was on my plate? I told her it was a pickled fig, so I gave her one of mine ….she ask me to go get her some. She loved them! She had never had them before. We felt very loved by Ms. Mary Payne while we were there and we loved her!we know you will love her, just remember all the great memories. Prayers for you all!
