Jean McConnell Yearwood, 65, of the Plainview Community, passed away Friday morning, February 13, 2015, at her home.

Born September 28, 1949, in Carnesville, Georgia, she was the daughter of Clyde Ellen Bibbs McConnell and the late Harry McConnell. She was the grandmother of the late Austin Lee Hardwick. She was the sister-in-law of the late Melvin McFarlin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Connie and John Harwick, Commerce; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Jackie Yearwood and Tracy and Tonya Yearwood, all of Carnesville; six grandchildren, A J Hardwick, Grace Hardwick, Madeline Yearwood, Chelsea Yearwood, Faith Yearwood, and Toben Yearwood; her mother; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Katherine and Craig Worley, Carnesville, Brenda and Larry Brown, Lavonia, and Janice McFarlin, Carnesville.

Graveside services will be 3pm Sunday afternoon at the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Grady Jordan.

The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home. The families are at their respective homes. They will receive friends from 5 until 7pm Saturday evening at the Ginn Funeral Home.
