Troy Dan Fulbright, 72, of the Hunter’s Creek Community, , passed away Saturday morning, March 14, 2015, at the Stephens County Hospital.

He was the son of the late Mack R. and Cortez Keller Fulbright. He was a farmer and before retirement worked at Coats & Clark and Luftex in Toccoa. He served in the US Army and was a member of the Hunter’s Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Shirley Outz Fulbright, daughters and son-in-law, Lynn & Greg McDuffie, Anderson, Kim Reece, and Crystal Payne, Carnesville, and son Clint Payne, Canon; sister, Carolyn Crunkleton, Carnesville; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 3pm Tuesday at the B D Ginn Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jewell Gaines and Rev. Roger Elrod.

The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville. The family is at the home. They will receive friends from 6 until 8pm Monday evening at the funeral home.

  3. I worked with Troy at Coats and Clark. He was always like a beam of sunlight. He taught me so much about Tractors, Cattle, and Machinery. I am so sorry for your loss. Your family is in my prayers.
