Clide was a dear friend of mine in 2nd grade at Air Line School, Bowersville, GA. I married a preacher and lived in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Nigeria West Africa. My husband and I were Nigerian missionaries for 21 years. We lost contact with Clide during all those years, but when she moved to Hart Care Nursing Home, we reunited, and what a glorious reunion that was. She could name every child in our second grade and wanted an update on each one. She was such a sweet and loving person – and I never forgot her. We have had some good visits in recent days, and I am sad to hear of her death. I have a procedure in the hospital tomorrow and due to the preparation for that today, I will be unable to come to the funeral. However, I send my love and blessings to her three daughters and to all the family.
