Yellow Rose of Texas

Lisa Faye Dove, 44, of the Red Hill community, passed away Friday afternoon, July 24, 2105, at the Brown Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born March 16, 1971 in Royston Georgia, she was the daughter of William York “Billy” and Catherine Louise Bennett Dove. She attended Franklin County High School, the Hart Training Center, and ran track in the Franklin County Special Olympics. She was a member of the Broad River Baptist Church.

She is survived by her parents of Red Hill; two sisters and brother-in-law, Libby and Franklin Downs, and Debbie Smith, all of Carnesville; and nieces and nephews, Chris, Alicia, Renee, Gary, Kim, and Jessica.

Services will be 3pm Sunday afternoon at the B D Ginn Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Brandon Crunkleton. The family will receive friends from 1pm Sunday afternoon until the funeral hour. Condolences may be left at

  4. lisa was a beautiful person inside and out with an infectious smile and laugh . I truely enjoyed taking care of her at St Marys . Lisa and I bonded in a special way . She always had a hug for me when I came in to take care of her. Always smiling and making me laugh. I will miss her and I know that every one that she came in contact with will miss her too, I am so sorry for your loss of this beautiful person.

    Lisa was a sweet woman with an infectious smile and personality . I enjoyed taking care of Lisa at St. Marys . lisa and I bonded in a special way and I will truely miss seeing her. She always had a smile and hugs for me . I am so very sorry for your loss and I know she will missed . by everyone as she touched so many lives while at St. Marys

    Billy and Catherine, I am so sorry to hear about Lisa. I have very fond memories growing up with Lisa at Broad River. Trust in the Lord and find your strength in him.
