
.Catherine Louise Bennett, 89 of the Red Hill Community, passed away Wednesday afternoon October 14, 202, at her home.
Born August 28, 1931, in Toccoa, she was the daughter of the late James “Jim” and Willie Belle Ivester Bennett. She was the widow of William Y. “Billy” Dove and mother of the late Lisa Faye Dove. She was the sister of the late Thurmond Bennett and Albert Bennett. She was a homemaker and member of Broad River Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Libby and Franklin Downs, Carnesville, and Debbie Smith, Carnesville; 6 grandchildren, Chris, Alicia, Renee, Gary, Kim, and Jessica; 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be announce later.

Debbie, Libby and entire family. I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Catherine. She was such a sweet lady. It seems like just yesterday I was sitting in the kitchen listening to her either singing or humming preparing a meal for her family. Such Godly parents that y’all had that was very dear to my family. My thoughts and prayers go out to each and every one of you hold dear the precious memories and just know that your Dad, Mom and Lisa are reunited with each other again.
