For years he took care of my husband, me and our 2 children.
We all adored him.

Dr. Sullivan was my Doctor when I was 5 years old until I was about 30. He called me that little Davison girl. he was always kind even though I am sure when I was little he hated giving me shots because everyone had to hold me down ! Ha I finally got over that and Nell started giving shots, he was a great Doctor, he even visited me at home a couple of times when I was too sick to ride in a car. He and his family were great human beings. He delivered my 1st child, and was always so kind to me and my family. May God bless his family and all his many friends. I am sure he is rejoicing in Heaven with his loved one’s. Now is time for you reward. Mary Davison Duvall and Robert Duvall.

He patched us kids up and sent us on our way. Always a very nice man. Just know he will always be remembered ,loved and missed. The lord got a good soldier
To the Sullivan Family and Carnesville Community: So sorry for your loss. Dr. Sullivan was such a good person and a friend to all who knew him. I have been away for a long time, but there are some people you never forget snd he was one of them.
Dr Sullivan was a great doctor but also a wonderful and kind human being. He also was color blind. He treated everyone regardless of color-stature or notoriety the same. My mom was a patient of his for many years and when she fell out at home with a massive heart attack (dead on the spot) he showed such compassion by sending her to the hospital and putting her on the breathing machine to give us time to grieve and say good bye. He was so compassionate and we will never forget that act of kindness. And also when I was a child (black child) we could always come to his house if we were sick and this was
60-70 era. He would get out of his bed regardless of the time of night -I know there is a crown waiting for him in heaven because he deserves one. Rest In Peace Dr. Sullivan. We salute you for all your kind deeds done while on this earth.
The Mattie Ruth Mayfield family.
I am so sorry for your loss. He delivered me and my 13 other brothers and sisters. I was the last of 14 kids in the Atkinson family. He was a great doctor and friend to our family. Rest in peace. Doc you were the best
Our sincere condolences to all of the Sullivan family. I had the pleasure of working for Dr. Sullivan in the early ‘80’s and enjoyed every minute of everyday. He was such a special person with a huge heart! I’m sure he & my dad are in heaven talking football & golf. He will be missed!
I’m so sorry for your loss. Dr. Sullivan was our family doctor until he retired. He was such a kind man. I remember going in one day , he was talking to an elderly lady. She was worried, she had just recently finished paying off her bill, and then she was sick and back at the office. I will never forget he put his arm around her and said ” I’m not worried about the money. If you need to see me , you come in. I’m here to help people get well.” I remember him making house calls when my granny Segars had cancer. He treated 4 generations of my family. We all loved Dr. Sullivan. Praying for God to comfort you in this time of loss. I know he is having a happy reunion in Heaven.
Dr. Bob took care of many of my family members as well as me. He was a wonderful doctor, gentleman, and friend. He made house calls for many family members. I take comfort knowing that he is having a wonderful reunion in heaven. God bless all of his family members.
I am so sorry about Doc. He was a great doctor and friend. He doctored my mama and daddy Ruby and Mamson Segars from the time he came to Carnesville until their death and he delivered all 5 of my children. He was very comical too Becky and I had twin boys the last pregnancy and when they were born Doc came out with one on each arm and he was smiling so big, he said Doug the next ones are on me.You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
Dr. Sullivan was an amazing doctor and he loved and cared for all of his patients. I have so many wonderful memories of him. The first
of many was him making house calls with his little black doctor bag for my daddy who had suffered a stroke and was bedridden . Others included, going to his office everyday for a week to receive a shot for pneumonia, going to his office in the middle of the night with a broken arm to have my arm set and cast applied, going to his house after hours and weekends for treatment. When you heard his deep voice, you knew you had to do everything he said! I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up and work for him. I was honored to be able to work with him at a Cobb Memorial Hospital and later with him at his office in Carnesville for several years. I learned so much from this amazing doctor and Southern gentleman! My prayers are with his family. I know he is having a wonderful reunion in heaven with June and Bobby.
Laurie and family,I am so sorry about doctor Sullivan,he will truly be missed by so many.I always called him Doc,he delivered me and all 4 of my siblings along with probably hundreds more.
