I am going to miss Jerry. He was one my oldest frienda in Carnesville.;)
We will truly miss his friendship and the times we got to spend with Jerry . Whether picincing on the carport, going to pops or echo or just him giving direction as we rode around. We loved you Jerry.
It was true for my cousin Jerry, as for all of us, that things don’t always go as we’d like them to; still he was always positive and upbeat, smiling, loving, generous with his hugs. When times were looking particularly hard for he and Frank as they faced Frank’s amputation, one of the dearest things I heard Jerry say was that he felt blessed “because I get to take care of Frank.” Not have to, or need to, but GET to …
May the Lord receive your soul with joy, Jerry. I love you.
Jerry will be missed so much! Praying for Kelly, Frank Taylor and family.
I remember Jerry from the open shows years ago. He was always pleasant and easy going. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Sad to see another red hill staple pass. But he rejoicing brothers jack and Mike. And mother and father. Living in the Atlanta are for 40 years I rarely got to see many of the folks I grew up with. Except by chance at a local gas station or restaurant. I always enjoy seeing anyone from carnesville or red hill. R.I.P. JERRY.
He was a great man. Was our ferrier for years. Rest In Peace Jerry!
I still remember skipping school so I could go with Daddy over to his house on the fourwheeler and we helped clean up the yard and trim his bushes, he even bought me a biscuit haha. I miss him already.
So sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing he was a sweet friend and always smiling
Guess I never thought this day would ever really come. The end of an era. The closing of a family book. Papa, Granny, Daddy, Uncle Mike, now Uncle Jerry was the last one. The world is going to seem less bright now. He was always such a jokester I bet he’s already asked Jesus to see those famous horses that’s in the Bible. You know the red one, black one, white one, and pale one. Uncle Jerry you will be missed.
I only knew Jerry fo 8 years. Julie and I would always bump into him eating some where, awe always joked and had a ball talking. Jerry was a year older than me I wish I could have meant him in the early years. I will always remember him and our conversations. May GOD be with him.
Keeping y’all in our prayers !!
I only knew Jerry about 5 or 6 years, he came in to Hawg wild BBQ where I worked and we became great friends, he came in almost every week, I got to meet his daughter and her family, they are all great people, even after I know longer worked at the restaurant he and I kept in touch, I am going to miss him so much, he helped me a couple of times and I will be forever grateful! Rip Jerry, I will never forget you!!
Jerry was my farrier and one of my dearest friends my whole time in the south. Saying goodbye to him when I moved to the west coast was the hardest of goodbyes. I always thought I would see him again. Till we meet again.
