It has been a long time since I last saw and talked with Katherine but she was one who could not be forgotten by those who knew her. Sorry to hear of her passing. My prayers for the family’s comfort and pease in the following month ahead will be my daily prayers.
When we moved to the New Franklin Community in 1977, Katherine was the first person to stop by and welcome us to the neighborhood. She, of course invited us to church and we began to attend She was such a thoughtful and giving person. It has been several years since I have spoken with her, but she was always the same, no matter what. I never heard her say an unkind word, ever. The Jordan/Bradley families were so impactful in my upbringing, which proves that God sends people into our lives for intended purposes. I am saddened for this wonderful community that another member has left for Glory, but I am so happy for Katherine. I know she is feeling peace that passes understanding in a place that human words cannot describe. I am a better person today because of people like Katherine and the extended family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless and keep you through this difficult time.
Thank you Katherine for the impact you had on so many lives.
Thank you Roy for your kind words, me and your kids often spoke on the bus on our way to school, may God richly bless you and your families.
