Lula Mae Perkins Adams, 94, of Carnesville, passed away Sunday morning, March 29, 2020, at her home.

Born November 26, 1925, in Lavonia, GA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Augustus and Mattie Lou Cisson Perkins. She was the widow of the late Ray Adams and grandmother of the late Donna Voyles. She was the sister of the late Hubert Perkins. She was a homemaker and was active member of Franklin County Senior Center. She was a avid supporter of the local Franklin County and Madison County athletic programs that her grandchildren and great-grandchildren participated in. She was the oldest living member of Liberty Baptist Church and had served as church treasurer for years. She was active in her card ministry and delivering recordings of church service to shut-ins and others unable to attend.

Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Larry & Avaline Adams, Carnesville, and Gary Adams of Carnesville; three daughters and sons-in-laws, Linda &Neal Daniels of Danielsville, Janice & Gerald Volyes, Carnesville, and Wanda & Tom Johnson, of Sautee Nacoochee, GA; twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Carrie Lou Harris, Lavonia, Sarah Adams, Lavonia, and Bobbie Jean Bartlett of Lavonia.

The family will gather for private graveside services at Liberty Baptist Church cemetery Wednesday at 11am.   The families are at their homes. We encourage you to send condolences online on her web page instead. There will be no public visitation or service.
