Mack Arvil Nicholson, 51, of Carnesville, GA, passed away Tuesday evening, January 9, 2018, at the Saint Marys Hospice House, Athens , GA.
Born February 27, 1966, in Toccoa, Georgia, he was the son of John A. Nicholson and the late Miranda Rosetta Collins Nicholson. He was a self employed welder. He was a member of the Currahee Baptist Church and attended the Carnesville Church of God.
Survivors include, his wife, Rhonda Ledford Nicholson; three daughters, Melanie Nicholson, Amber Nicholson, and Shelby Nicholson, all of the home; one grandson, Owen; two brothers, Dale Nicholson and Warrens Nicholson, both of Toccoa.
Services will be Friday afternoon, January 12, 2018, at 2pm at the Carnesville Church of God with the Rev. Ralph Goss and Rev. Tommy Childress. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the funeral hour in the church prior to the service. The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Ginn Funeral Home, P O Box 37, Carnesville, GA 30521 to help with final expenses.
