
Paul Ballenger Jr., 58, of Royston, passed away Saturday evening, July 3, 2021, from injuries at the Hartwell Speedway in Hartwell, GA.
Born July 11, 1963, in Royston Georgia, he was the son of Paul Edward and Janette Bernice Nation Ballenger Sr. He was the brother of Edward Ballenger and brother-in-law of the late Roger Goodwin. He was a auto body repair technician with Ed Murdoch Ford Dealership in Lavonia.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Amanda and Jeffery Lord, Colbert, GA, and Jennifer Ballenger, Toccoa; Two sons Steven Ballenger, Toccoa, and Josh Wade Elberton; 14 grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley and Andy Mckie, Commerce, and Brenda Goodwin, Royston; Brothers, William Ballenger, Commerce, Robert Ballenger, Canon, and Clinton Ballenger, Homer; and his girlfriend Terri Patman.
Services will be Thursday morning at 11am at the B D Ginn Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Carithers. Interment will at Nails Creek Baptist Church,
The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville. The families are at their homes.
They will receive friends from 6 until 8 at the funeral home Wednesday evening. .

I knew you from Megan and Justin and the boys. You were an amazing man to be around, you always had a smile on your face and never failed that when someone was down and out or having a hard day, you knew just how to bring a smile amongst their face. Megan loved you so so much, her and the boys. We all are so grateful for everything you’ve ever done for any/all us. God called you home that night because he said your work on earth was done, now uncle Paul you Go Rest High On That Mountain , spread those beautiful beautiful angle wings and sore! Rest easy uncle Paul we love you! Your wings were ready but our hearts were not Gone but never forgotten! 07/04/2021 will forever be a night that’s always going to be hard but will always be remembered

Paul, you was the bestest friend anyone could have ever asked for. You knew just what to say to put a smile on someone’s face and had the most gentle tear wiper of any person. Thank you for all the good talks, long nights, and memories made over the years. I’ll love you til my last breath. See you later sweetheart.
