Randy Spear Edge, age 70, of Lavonia passed away December 5, 2017.
Born April 11, 1947 in Oconee County, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Emory Spear and Utez Taylor Edge. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by two sisters: Emily Gresham, of Carnesville, Ga; and Betty McGee, of Martin, Ga.
The family will gather Saturday, December 16, at 2pm for a graveside memorial at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those wishing to make memorials please do so to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, 1577 Northeast Expressway, Suite A, Atlanta, GA 30329.
