Stanley Drew Carey, 61, of Carnesville, passed away Sunday morning, November 22, 2020, at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, GA.
Born January 4, 1959, in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late James Darrell and Martha Sue Randall Carey. He was the father of the late Nickolas Carey and brother of the late Gwen Perkins and Wanda Hart. He was a self employed auto and marine mechanic and a member of Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife Patricia Andrews Carey; daughter, Lara Carey, Lavonia, and Gina Sorrells, Carnesville; granddaughter Ansley Sorrells; brothers and sister-in-law, Bryon Carey, Royston, and Nelson and Kim Carey, Carnesville.
Services will be Tuesday afternoon at 3pm at the Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Bainey and Rev. David Souderes. Interment will be in Carey Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the home. They will receive friends from 1pm until 3pm Tuesday afternoon at Liberty Baptist Church prior to the service. Condolences may be left for the family at ginnfuneralhome.com.
