
Sue Bell Pruitt, 84, of Carnesville, passed away Saturday afternoon, February 5, 2022, at the AnMed Health Medical Center, in Anderson, SC.
Born July 3, 1937, in Carnesville, she was the daughter of the late Hoyt and Emma Lee Payton Bell. She was the widow of the late Maxie Cleveland Pruitt; mother of the late Audrey Watkins and Michael Pruitt; and sister of the late Opal Parks, and Tootsie Parsons. She was a seamstress and cashier, and had worked for Dad’s Restaurant for over 20 years. She was a member of Compassion Baptist Church.
Survivors include grandson Justin Pruitt, Carnesville, Ga; granddaughter Christy McKenzie, Carnesville, Ga; and two great-grandchildren, Madison and Tyler; great-great-grandson, Gabriel; sister, Hazel Jones, Port Richey, Florida.
Services will be 2pm Thursday at B D Ginn Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at Franklin Memorial Gardens North.
The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home. The family is at the home, and will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8pm Wednesday evening. Condolences may be made at ginnfuneralhome.com
Sincere Sympathy to the family. Sue was always a delightful precious lady who loved the Lord & her church Compassion Baptist Church. She embraced her Faith as she was faced with the loss of her husband, son and daughter. Sue was a Blessing to know.
Love and prayers to all the family. I will never forget Sue and her love for her immediate family as well as her extended family. God has given her a new body without pain and sorrow. I know you all will miss her so. I am continuing to pray for you all.
