He was like a brother at times. He was like a dad at times. He was like a grandpa at times. Most of all a true friend all the time. Tim Sullivan Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.
I met Vince and Ben 20+ years ago in Colorado. It was hunting season and I was walking out of the woods in the dark. We bumped into each other and kind of scared each other. We talked all the way back to our trucks and became instant friends. Myself and my Michigan friends built the front porch for Shirley and Vince’s place in Rand. Vince was always happy and will be missed, he was a good man. He’s in a place where the elk bugle all day.
As you go through life there’s a handful of people who you meet that you take a heart felt liking too. Vince was one of people for me. Although I never had the chance to know him well, I knew him the minute i met him. Elk hunting will never be quite the same without him and Tim stopping by swapping lies with us ! We lost a good one there ! It was a honor to have called him my friend.
