Annie Elizabeth Hambrick Harper, 84, of Sandy Cross Community, passed away Monday afternoon, May 9, 2022, at the home of her son.
Born April 15, 1938, in Bold Spring Community, she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Lila Hart Hambrick. She was the widow of the late Clyde Milton Harper and mother of the late Cralin Benson Harper. The last survivor of her immediate family, she was the sister of the late Herbert Hambrick, Hugh Hambrick, Ray Hambrick, Lewis Hambrick, Dank Hambrick, Edwin Hambrick, Albert Hambrick, Evie Lee Phillips, Elvie Varner, and Eva Varner. She was a talented seamstress and loved to crochet. She was faithful member of Cornerstone Church of Royston.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Clint and Joann Harper, Sandy Cross; three grandchildren, Leah Harper, Beth & Kevin Yates, and Max & Kim Harper; two great-grandchildren, Mason Harper and Molly Yates.
Services will be 4pm Thursday afternoon at the Cornerstone Church of Royston with Rev. Clint Harper, Lisa Campbell, and Rev. Phil Campbell. Interment will be a Pennington Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home and will be placed in the church at 3pm Thursday afternoon. The family is at the home and will receive friends at the church Thursday afternoon from 3pm until the funeral hour. Condolences can be left at ginnfuneralhome.com.
