David Benton Hall, Jr. 85, of 4370 Ga. Hwy 326, Bold Spring Community, died December 21, 2020, at St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital with his family by his side.
Born September 15, 1935, in Franklin County, he was the son of late David Benton Hall, Sr. and Susie Carson Hall. Benton was a lifelong farmer, member of the Franklin County Young Farmers, Cattlemen’s Association, Franklin County Farm Bureau Board, and retired from Bold Spring Volunteer Fire Department. The family rejoices knowing he got saved this past September.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lanelle Bramlett Hall, and son, Timothy Ryan Hall. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne Hall Butler and Gary, Maryville, TN; sons and daughters-in-law, Guerry and Wendi Hall, Stacey and Susan Hall, and Kent and Jill Hall, all of Carnesville; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Amory Hall, Maysville and sister Sylvia Hall Bellamy, Carnesville.
Graveside services will be held December 27, 2020, at 2:00 pm at Bold Spring United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. John Swanger officiating. The body will be at Ginn Funeral Home in Carnesville December 26 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for anyone wanting to drop by and pay their respects. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Franklin County Young Farmers Christmas Fund to help needy families in this area.
