Billy Elrod

Billy Joe Elrod, 75, of Eastanollee, GA, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018, in Oconee County, South Carolina.Born November 12, 1942, in Carnesville, he was the son of the late Joe Felton “Fellie” and Hattie Mae South Elrod. He was predeceased by a stepson Billy Ray Farmer, brother Kenneth Elrod, and son-in-law Lloyd Kinney. He had been a used car dealer. His passion was raising hunting beagles. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Dana Elrod, Newnan, GA, and Bradley and Michelle Farmer, Villa Rica; daughters and son-in-law, Deborah Farmer Kinney, Clarkesville, and Donna Kirby; Donna Farmer and Steve Kirby; ten grandchildren, Emma Elrod, Brett Elrod, Joshua Kinney, Austin Kinney, Kaitlin Caudell, Hagan Farmer, Cornelia Whiten, Ashley Whiten. Kayla Whiten, Andrew Whiten; great-grandchildren, Jase Childers, Journey Whiten, Kaidence Whiten, Kinslee Whiten, Aubree Whiten, Owen Kinney, Levi Stevens, Sara Stevens, Noah Diaz; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Marshall and Bobbie Elrod, Carnesville, GA, and Coy and Jerri Elrod of Bowman, GA. Memorial Service will be held Friday evening, 6pm, September 7, 2018, at the B D Ginn Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5pm until the service hour.
