Bonnie Sue Whitsel Patterson, of the Bold Springs Community, passed away Monday afternoon, April 6, 2020, at her home.
Born February 23, 1936, in Carnesville, she was the daughter of the late Joel Ardell and Margaret Inez Epps Whitsel. She was the widow of the late Rudolph Winford Patterson, and mother of the late Jerry Winford Patterson. She was the sister of the late Clifford Sykes and mother-in-law of the late Johnny Fitzpatrick. She was a homemaker and a poultry farmer. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughter Debbie Patterson Fitzpatrick; daughter-in-law, Deborah Powers Patterson; grandchildren and spouses; Kim & Kenneth Hyde, Christie Bradley, Leslie & Bryan Christian, and Amanda & Josh Smith; five great-grandchildren, Hunter, Ansleigh, Carlie, Caleb, and Tinley; sisters Clair Sykes Banks, Joyce Whisel Gray, and Mary Whitsel Whitlock.
Private graveside services will be Wednesday afternoon at 4pm at the Carey Memorial Gardens, in Sandy Cross.
