Brenda Joyce Thomas Broome, 73, of Red Hill passed away Thursday afternoon September 6, 2018 at the Sacred Heart Hospital, Lavonia.
Born January 7, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Emelee Grady and Idell Etta Wright Thomas. She was the widow of the late James “Jim” Broome, and sister of the late Harold Thomas, Daniel Thomas, Carolyn Pruitt, and Bernice Thomas. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her two sons and daughter-in-law, Carey Broome and Quint and Tina Broome, and one daughter Stephanie Fulbright, all of the Red Hill community; seven grandchildren: Jessica, Tyler, Arra, Tionna, Bree, Presleigh, Sara, Missy, and Tim; and nine great-grandchildren: Colton, Wylee, Easton, Katlyn, Weston, Houston, William, Isaiah, and Camden.
Services will be Monday afternoon at 2pm at the B D Ginn Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Thomas. Interment will be in the Franklin Memorial Gardens.
The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home. The family is at the home of her son Quint, and will receive friends from 6 until 8pm Sunday evening at the funeral home.
