Charles Burton, Rogers, 86, of Eastanollee, passed away Saturday evening, March 18, 2023, at the Stephens County Hospital, Toccoa.
Born March 12, 1937, in Elijay, Georgia, he was the son of the late John Williard and Frances Garner Rogers. He was a member of twelve brothers and sisters. He owned and operated Charles Exon and Wrecker Service, in Toccoa, and worked as a carpet installer for Caudell’s Linoleum and Carpet.
Survivors include his wife Willene Kirk Rogers; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Joy Rogers, Toccoa, and Tommy and Marie Rogers, Eastanollee; two daughters and sons-in-law, Becky and Mark Kesler, Toccoa, and Joy and Brian Perrin, Jefferson; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; brother Butch Rogers, Elijay, and sister Mary Cruce, of Suches, GA.
Services will be 2pm Wednesday at Indian Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Britt Ginn and Rev. John Thomas. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home. The family is at the home. They will be receive friends from 6 until 8pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Condolences may be left for the family at ginnfuneralhome.com.
