David "Squirrel" Floyd

William David "Squirrel" Floyd, 68, of Carnesville passed away Wednesday morning, November 6, 2019 at the Brown Health and Rehab Center in Royston.

Born October 17, 1951, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Thomas Keith and Helen Jane Morgan Floyd.    He was the brother of the late Robert Floyd and Randy Floyd, and brother-in-law to the late Mark Macomson. He was a auto paint and body man and was retired from Floyd Brothers Body and Paint. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by sisters and brother-in-law, Wanda Floyd Macomson of Carnesville, and Patricia and Marshall Ballenger of Danielsville; and  two nieces and seven nephews.

His memorial service will be held Monday, November 11, 2019, at the B D Ginn Memorial Chapel with Rev. Leon Carson.  The family will receive friends from 1pm until 3pm Monday afternoon at the funeral home prior to  and after the service.
