Deborah Brooks

Deborah Joan Brooks, 69 of Royston, passed away Friday afternoon at Piedmont Athens Regional in Athens Ga.

Born April 9^th 1954 in Royston GA, she is the daughter of the late Dwayne Dickerson and late Rebecca Standridge of Martin, GA. She retired from Southern Fabricators of Carnesville and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Sandy Cross.  

Survivors include her husband Bobby Ray Brooks of Royston. Her Step-father Ricky Standridge of Martin. Children Kim & Neat Davis of Danielsville. Tracy & April Myers of Dewy Rose. Stacy Brooks of Dewy Rose. Grandchildren Brandon & Marta Brooks of Royston, Drew & Amber Davis of Nicholson, Aubrey & Ivie Davis of Colbert, Trent Brooks of Toccoa, Nikolas Brooks of Toccoa, Autumn & Zach Garner of Fort Bliss, Texas, Madisen & Donavan Carey of Dewy Rose and Johna Myers of Dewy Rose and eight Great-grand children. She is also survived by her siblings Bonda Davis of Canon, Teresa Vaughn of Eastanollee, Randall Dickerson of Canon and David & Vicky Dickerson of Canon.

Services will be held Wednesday December 27th at 1:00pm at Riverside Baptist church with the Rev. Glynn Lyles & Rev. Dwayne Dickerson. Mrs. Brooks will lie in state at Riverside church 30 minutes prior to the service at 1:00pm. The burial will be at Riverside cemetery following the service.  

The family will receive friends at Ginn Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00pm till 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Riverside Baptist Church.
