Dorothy Burnette Williams, 76, of Anderson, SC, passed away Sunday evening, September 8, 2019.
Born February 14, 1943, in Toccoa, GA, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Winnie Sue Clardy Burnette. She was the grandmother of the late Elyse Anderson, and sister of the late Thomas Burnette and Donald Burnette. She was a retired title clerk with Richard Kay Automotive of Anderson, SC. She was a member of Tom’s Creek Baptist Church in Stephens County, Ga and North Anderson Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Amy Williams, Anderson; grandchildren, Kayla and Will Byars, Chase, and Garrett, and one great-grandchild Reagan; two brothers, Billy Burnette, Bristol, VA, and David Burnette, of Gumlog, GA.
Services will be 4pm Wednesday afternoon at the B D Ginn Memorial Chapel with Rev. J Floyd Stancil, Rev. Jordan Evans, and Rev. Daryl Inperati.
The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4pm Wednesday afternoon prior to the service. .In lieu flowers memorials may be made to the North Anderson Pentecostal Church, 4507 Old Mill Road, Anderson, South Carolina.
