Eddy Fowler

Eddy Fowler, 78, of the Hunters Creek Community of Carnesville, passed away Monday morning, January 20, 2020, at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia.

Born April 13, 1941, in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Hess Elijah and Virginia “Babe” Fulbright Fowler. He was the brother of the late Delbert Fowler.  He served as Franklin County Probate Judge from 1996 until 2012 and was a Franklin County Deputy.  He was also an used automobile dealer. He was a member of the Carnesville Church of God.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Jordan Fowler; one son and daughter-in-law, Nick & Margaret Fowler, Carnesville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Connie & Greg Garrison, Toccoa, and Wanda & Michael Langford, Hartwell; 4 grandchildren, Tiffany, Eric, Amy, and Jamie; 4 great-grandchildren, Chance, Isabelle, Claire, and Olivia; one brother, Burrell Fowler, Carnesville.

Memorial services will be Sunday afternoon at 3pm at the B D Ginn Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gary Ledford.  The family will receive friends from 1pm until 3pm Sunday afternoon.  Condolences may be left at ginnfuneralhome.com.
