Edward Peeples

Talmadge "Edward" Peeples, age 88, passed away on January 8, 2025 at Piedmont hospital in Athens.

Edward was born on May 29th 1936 in Canon, GA to Talmadge and Dorothy Peeples. Edward was retired from Boaz carpets where he worked as a loom mechanic. Edward was married to Marry Clardy Peeples for 31 years and lived in the Red Hill community. He enjoyed farming and tending to his livestock. 

He is preceded in death by his father and mother Talmadge and Dorothy Peeples. Son Eddy Peeples of Royston. Siblings Eloise Belcher of Bartow, GA and Betty Parten of Royston, GA.

He is survived by his wife Marry Peeples of Carnesville and brother Donald & Jewel Peeples of Sharpsburg, GA.

Visitation services will be held Monday, 13th of January, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ginn Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Edward Peeples will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Ginn Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Davis officiating. Graveside services will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Royston.
