Jimmie Fay Bryant Segars, 77, of Red Hill, passed away Thursday morning September 3, 2020, at her residence.
Born June 12, 1943, she was the daughter of James “Jim” and Mary Elizabeth LeCroy Bryant. She was the widow of the late Joseph Bryant “Joe” Segars, and sister of the late Evelyn Akin and Marshall Bryant. She was retired as Franklin County High School Dietician and also worked for Echo Restaurant. She was a member of Broad River Baptist Church and was active in the Joy Class.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Judy and Donald Keith, Martin, Ga; two sons and daughter-in-law: James Segars, of Martin, Ga, and Eric and Amy Segars, of Martin, Ga; six grandchildren, Blake, Ryleigh, Chloe, Matthew, and Wyatt & Chance; great-grandchild, Kayson.
Services will be Saturday morning at 11am at the Broad River Baptist Church with Rev. Brandon Crunkleton and Rev. Don Blalock. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home. The family is at the home and will receive friends from 5 until 7pm Friday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Broad River Baptist Life Center Fund, P O Box 954 Toccoa, Georgia 30577. Condolences may be made to the family at ginnfuneralhome.com.
