Frank Payne

Frank Herbert Payne, age 70, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024 at his home in Carnesville Ga.

Frank was born in Royston, Ga to Ace and Imogene Payne. Frank was married to his life long love Patsy Ginn Payne. He retired from Westinghouse and was a coil winder in the manufacturing of transformers. Frank enjoyed coon hunting, riding horses (his favorite being his mule Della), gardening and fishing. He was most happy when spending time with his family. Frank was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was active in the Liberty men's group.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ace & Imogene Payne. Sisters Carolyn Westmoreland, Becky Long and Susanne McCarty.

Frank is survived by his two children John Payne (Sonia) of Carnesville and Jaime Wynn (Michael) of Thompsons Station, TN. Three grandchildren Cannon Tate Wynn, Solyan and Noeshi Burgos Velez. And four great grandchildren Jerlyan, Norelis, Jamelys and Jon Ian.

Visitation will be held Sunday September the 29th from 2:00pm until 3:00 pm at Ginn Funeral Home. 

Memorial services will be held Sunday at 3:00pm at Ginn funeral home with Pastor David Souderes. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Liberty Baptist Church Carnesville, GA in Frank's honor.
