Harold Moore

Harold Moore, 87, of Carnesville, passed away Tuesday morning, January 19, 2021 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC.

Born July 21, 1933 in Carnesville, he was the son of the late Gartrelle and Mary Sue Snipes Moore. He was the brother of the late Doug Moore.  He was retired from Franklin Industries, and was a veteran of the U S Army. He was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for many years and was a member of the choir.

He is survived by his wife Shelby Jean Chatham Moore; sons and daughter-in-law, Larry and Ann Moore, Carnesville, and Kevin Moore, Columbus, GA; daughter, Karen Bruce, Lavonia;  grandaughter, Braden Bruce and grandson Dalton Bruce; brother , Morris Moore, Carnesville; a niece and four nephews.

Services will be 11am Friday morning at  the B D Ginn Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Tommy Cleveland.  Interment services will at Cross Roads Baptist Church cemetery, with military honors will be conducted by Rev. Bobby Jones.

The family will receive friends from 10am Friday morning until the funeral hour at the funeral home. Condolences may be left at ginnfuneralhome.com.
