J N Hopkins

J N Hopkins, 84, of Martin, Ga, passed away Monday morning, August 21, 2017, at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, Ga.

Born April 12, 1933, he was the son of the late John Thomas and Lillian W. Morgan Hopkins. He had retired from the J P Stevens/West Point Pepperell textile plant. He was of the Holiness faith.

He is survived by his wife Doris Fowler Hopkins; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Sue Hopkins and Stanley and Angie Hopkins both of Martin; one daughter and son-law, Sharon and Floyd Franks, Eastanollee, Ga; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and sisters Joann Kirk, Carnesville, and Johnnie Sue Gilliam, Townville, SC.

Services will be Wednesday morning at 11am at the B D Ginn Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Floyd Franks and Rev. Darryl Gilliam. The families are at their homes. They will receive friends from 6 until 8pm Tuesday evening at the Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville.
