James Kenneth Bruce, 82, of the Middle River Community, passed away Tuesday evening, July 3, 2018, at the Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, GA.
Born March 9, 1936, in Chattanooga, TN, he was the son of the late James William and Gladys Bass Bruce. He was the husband of the late Thelma Jane Shockley Bruce, and brother of the late Paul Bruce and Mildred Roach. He was a retired truck driver and was a member of the Carnesville Church of God.
He is survived by his special friend, Patricia Hall, Carnesville.
Services will be Saturday afternoon at 2pm at the Carnesville Church of God with the Rev. Gary Ledford. Interment will be in the Middle River Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home and will be placed in the church at 1pm Saturday prior to the service for visitation. Condolences may be left at ginnfuneralhome.com.
