James Marion “Jimmy” Milford Jr., 64, of the Red Hill Community, passed away Tuesday evening, March 28, 2023, at his home.
Born November 12, 1958, he was the son of the late James Marion and Edna Louise Brady Milford Sr. He was the owner operator of Milford Tire Store since 1997. He had been a welder at Plant Vogel in Augusta, and a poultry farmer. He was a member of the United Methodist Men, Red Hill Volunteer Fire Department, and Franklin County Young Farmers. He was a lifelong member of Allens United Methodist Church,
Survivors include his wife Vickie Standridge Milford; daughters, Kelly (Josh) Whitaker, Jefferson, and Brandi (Jason) Hallford, Lavonia,; son Jim Milford, Red Hill.; his beloved grandchildren, Austin, Evan, Caroline, Owen, and Ansley; sisters, Jennie (Alvin) Kennedy, Eastanollee, Wanda Sheriff, Martin, and Deborah (Tim) Shiftlett, Hartwell; brother, John Milford, Red Hill.
Services will be 3pm Monday afternoon at Allens United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Garner and Rev. Tommy Childress.
Jimmy Milford will be at the Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville. The family is at the home and will receive friends from 5 until 7 Saturday evening at the funeral home, and Sunday from 2 until 4pm at the funeral home. Condolences may be left at ginnfuneralhome.com.
