Prominent Georgia Attorney James Douglas Perry, age 64, of Duluth, Georgia, peacefully entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 3, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services for James will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Level Creek United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM with Rev. Elaine Wilder officiating. Graveside will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Carnesville, Georgia at 3:30 p.m. The family will gather with friends on Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 



James was born November 22, 1958, in Carnesville, GA, to his beloved parents the James Perry and the late June Toney Perry. 

He was a faithful member at Level Creek United Methodist Church. He was a practicing attorney for over 37 years. James enjoyed listening to music and watching sports, especially the Atlanta Falcons and the Clemson Tigers whom he was a big fan of both! He loved traveling with his wife of 37 years, Marina Jimenez Perry; also surviving James was his beloved children, Anthony Perry and Nicole Perry; father, James Perry; as well as a host of extended family and close friends.
