Jeanell Miller

Jeanell Miller of Martin GA, age 75, passed away on September 15, 2024, in Athens, GA.

Jeanell was born in Toccoa, GA to Curtis & Mattie Hill Segars on November 23rd 1948. She married Dan Miller of Carnesville on August 28th 1965. She worked for Franklin County School Systems where she faithfully drove a bus for 27 Years. Jeanell was also a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Carnesville. Jeanell enjoyed watching her grand children playing baseball, basketball, soccer, and any other activities that involved her family. She loved being NANA! 

She is preceded in death by both her parents Curtis & Mattie Segars, Husband Dan Miller, Brother Joe Segars and Granddaughter Emily Miller.

Jeanell is survived by her two children, daughter Janet Williams of Carnesville and son Mike & Cathy Miller of Martin. Grandchildren Mike Miller Jr. of Martin, Brittany Miller of Martin, Alex Williams of Carnesville, Jordan & Robert Johnson of Dawsonville, and Madison Williams of Carnesville. And two great-grandchildren Olivia & Naomi Mire of Carnesville. Sister Jean Owens of Martin. And numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. 

Visitation will be held at Ginn funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00pm till 3:00pm.Funeral services will also be on Wednesday and will be held at Crossroads Baptist Church at 3:30pm with interment services following at the Crossroads Baptist Church cemetery.
