Retha Geraldine “Jerri” Bond Duffell, 79, of Carnesville, passed away Thursday morning, September 7, 2017 at the Northridge Health Center in Commerce.
Born May 31, 1938, in Carnesville, GA, she was the daughter of the late John Leon and Azilee Martin Bond. She was the widow of the late Allen Duffell. She was a member of the FCHS class of 1956. She along with her husband were cattle farmers. She was a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church and had served as the church secretary for many years.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Christy and Michael Seguin, Austin Texas, and Tiffany and Mike Wells, Winterville, GA; two grandchildren, Matthew Wells and Haven Wells.
Services will be Sunday at 3pm at the B D Ginn Chapel with Rev. W. Bobby Jones and Rev. Nate Bunner. Interment will be at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home. They family will receive friends from 1 until 3pm Sunday afternoon at the funeral home. Condolences may be left at ginnfuneralhome.com.
