Jerry Swindell

Jerry William Swindell, 67, of Carnesville, passed away October 6, 2018.

Born November 12, 1950, in Clarkesville, he was the son of the late Harry Charles and Eleanor Dudley Little Swindell. He was the brother of the late Bobby Swindell and Timothy Swindell. He had been a contractor and was a long-time woodworker and furniture maker. He was a member and a past deacon of the Carnesville Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his sister, Eleanor Tarr, Athens; four brothers, Charles Swindell, Winder, Leland Swindell, Carnesville, David Swindell, Carnesville, and Richard Swindell, Lavonia; and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will Sunday afternoon at 3pm at the Cross Roads Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1pm until 3pm Sunday afternoon at the Ginn Funeral Home prior to the services
