Joshua Caleb Isaacs, 36, of Youngin, South Korea, died Monday, December 27, 2021 at the Clark Memorial Hospital, in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Born May 23, 1985, in Beaufort, South Carolina, he was the son of Bobby Isaacs and Sheryl Ann Neal Isaacs. He was the brother of the late Terry Allen Cobb Jr, and grandson of the late Laverne Neal and Arlis and Shirley Isaacs. He was graduate of Trabuco Hills High School, earned a BA at University of California, in Irvine and his masters at USC in Pasadena, California. He had been a resident of Hong Kong, Ecuador, Brazil, California, North Carolina, South Carolina, and South Korea. He was a linguist and teacher. He taught in Seoul, South Korea, and was a Grand Master 5
th
Degree Black Belt Tae Kwon Do. He was a member of the church of Christ.
Survivors include his son, Shallen Young-Joon Isaacs; mother Sheryl Neal Isaacs, Toccoa; father, Bobby and Krista Isaacs, of Sellersburg, IN; grandparents, Roy and Wanda Neal, Carnesville; brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Jennifer Cobb, Toccoa, GA; nieces, Lily, Emma, Bella, Mia, and Sophie; and grand-nephew, Asher; special uncle and aunt, Verne and Angel Isaacs, and special cousin Samuel Isaacs.
Services will be 2pm Sunday at B D Ginn Memorial Chapel with Gary Davis and Ed Owens. Interment will be at Franklin Memorial Gardens, North.
