Kathy Buffington

Kathy Banister Buffington, age 66, passed away on September 19, 2024 at her home in Canon, GA.

Kathy was born in Hartwell, GA to P.M. & Alice Norris Banister. Kathy married Bobby Buffington of Carnesville, GA. Kathy retired from AmCan where she was an over the road truck driver. She was of the baptist faith and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, having her nails done, going out to eat and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father P.M. and Alice Banister.

She is survived by her husband Bobby Buffington of Canon. Two daughters Erica & Marcy Burdette of Canon and Courtney & Ryan Crump of Canon. Three grandchildren Lexey Phillips, Myles Burdette and River Hanley of Canon. Brother Johnny & Maggie Banister of Sandy Cross. And numerous brother in-laws, sister In-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will be holding a private graveside service at a later date.
