Kimberly Honeywell, 49, of Carnesville, passed away Saturday evening, September 11, 2021, at the St Mary’s Hospital in Athens. Georgia.
Born September 20, 1971, in Royston, GA, she was the daughter of Gloria Tanner Starrett and the late Billy Estee Starrett. She was the sister of the late Debra Starrett. She was a graduate of Franklin County High School, and Piedmont College. She was a Special Education Lead Teacher at Carnesville Elementary School, and then Early Intervention Teacher at Franklin County SNIP Preschool Program. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Brent Honeywell Sr.; daughter, Baylee Bennett; sons, Tanner Bennett, Brent Honeywell Jr, and Carson Honeywell; mother, Gloria Starrett; brother and sister-in-law, Reggie and Laura Starrett; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kirk and Shelly Schlegel; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Vincent and Cheri Honeywell.
Services will be Thursday afternoon at 1pm at the Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Todd West and Rev. Bill Thomas. A private family graveside will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens North.
The body is at Ginn Funeral Home. The family is at the home. They will receive friends from 5 until 7pm Wednesday evening at the Liberty Baptist Church. Out of respect for Kim, the family request mask be worn at the visitation and service.
