Milton Sewell

Milton Edward Sewell, age 92, passed away on January 15, 2025 in Blairsville, Ga. Milton was born in Carnesville, Ga. to Guy Washington Sewell and Bertie Edna Higgingbotham Sewell. Milton married Sylvia Sparks Sewell of Carnesville, Ga. Milton served in the United States Air Force for 4 years and had retired from Delta Air Lines after 30 years of faithful service as an Aircraft Mechanic. He was a member of Bold Spring Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents Guy and Bertie Sewell, wife Sylvia Sewell, son Dwain Sewell. Brothers Lynwood Sewell, Harold Sewell, and Stewart Sewell.

Milton is survived by his two daughters Sharon (Marcus) Owensby of Blairsville, Ga., Brenda (Craig) Young of McDonough, Ga. and daughter- in -law, Beth Sewell of Tulsa, Ok. 

Six Grandchildren, Jeffery (Jessica) Owensby, Jason ( Emily) Owensby, Blaine Young, Miranda Young, Dustin (Hayley) Sewell and Brittany (Shane) Wilkinson. Six Great Grandchildren, Ansley Owensby, Austin Owensby, Duncan Owensby, Everly Sewell,Teague Wilkinson and Ada Wilkinson. 

Visitation will be held Sunday Jan. 19th 2025 from 1:30 to 2:45 at Bold Spring Church.Graveside services will follow at Bold Spring Cemetery at 3:00 pm with Rev. Leigh Martin.
