Moyce Keith McFarlin, 58, of the New Bethel Community of Carnesville, passed away at his home, October 1, 2019.
Born December 10, 1960, in Stephens County, he was the son of the late Lloyd Dessau “Deck” and Elise Elizabeth Andrews McFarlin. He was the brother of the late Shirley McFarlin and Melvin Lee McFarlin. He was a graduate of Franklin County High School and was a self-employed construction worker. He had been a member of the Double Churches Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by sons, Richard McFarlin, Toccoa, Brandon McFarlin, Carnesville, and Christopher McFarlin, Seneca; step-daughter, Michelle Hendrix; two grand-daughters Katie Elizabeth McFarlin, and Amari Elizabeth Elise McFarlin.
Services will Thursday at 2pm at the New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky McFarlin and Rev. Tim Bennett. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville. The families are at their respective homes. They will receive friends from 1pm until 2pm at the New Bethel Baptist Church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers friends may make memorials to New Bethel Baptist Church cemetery fund. Condolences may be left at ginnfuneralhome.com.
