Ronald Douglas Gillespie, 72, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, passed away, Sunday, December 22, 2019.
Born October 7, 1947, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Mildred Bellamy Gillespie. He was a member of FCHS class of 1965, and a graduate of the University of Georgia. He was a pharmacist with Fannin Drugs in Blue Ridge for over 40 years.
Survived by his wife Pat Wallen Gillespie; one son Todd; one daughter, Leighanne; 4 granddaughters; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Ann Gillespie, Athens, GA, GA, Harold and Linda Gillespie, Martin, GA, and Larry and Cindy Gillespie, Washington, GA; a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends will gather with the family Saturday December 28, 2019, from 1pm until 3pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home, in Blue Ridge, GA. The family request memorials to the American Heart Association in his memory.
