Ronald George Schaeffer, 74, of Toccoa, passed away Monday morning, June 28, 2021, at his home.
Born September 16, 1946 in Pottsville Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late George Leroy and Aida Jimenez Schaeffer. He was a graduate of the University of Florida. He was a long time poultry farmer in Franklin County. He was of the Lutheran faith.
He was survived by his wife, Lucy Carter Schaeffer; daughter and son-in-law, Sharleen and Tony Ayers, Carnesville; son and daughter-in-law Clint and Michele Schaeffer, Duluth; grandchildren, Anna Ayers, Charlie Ayers, and Hannah Subria; sister and brother-in-law, Lynne Schaeffer and Roland Bouchard.
A memorial service will be held later in Florida.
