Ruby Dalrymple Jameson

Ruby Faye McFarlin Dalrymple Jameson, 92, of the New Bethel Community, passed away at her home, Monday evening, March 16, 2020.

Born February 9, 1928, in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Lettie Ethel Addison McFarlin.  She was the widow of the late Frank Dalrymple.  She was the sister of the late Edward McFarlin, Fred McFarlin, Ralph McFarlin, and Ebb McFarlin. She was retired from Vermont American of Toccoa and Women’s Auxillary of Double Churches Volunteer Fire Department. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church where she served various committees and for many years as food chairman.

Survivors include her husband Harold Jameson; son and daughter-in-law, Dykes and Diana Dalrymple; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Rick Shiver, Conyers,  and Cathy and Gregg Hallford, Lavonia; grandchildren, Darrin Dalrymple, Stephanie Wilson-Johnson, Crystal Hamilton, Brandon Wilson, Chesley Hallford, and Amber Carlton; great-grandchildren, Camille Johnson, Cambyl Johnson, Reece Hamilton, Reagan Hamilton, Ellie Hallford, Saylor Carlton, Saydee Carlton, Timothy Dalrymple, and Tori Dalrymple Fleming; two great-great-grandchildren, Taelyn Dalrymple and Dawson Dalrymple.

Services will be 3pm Wednesday at the New Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Childress.  Committal and interment will be in the church cemetery with Rev. Joey Gilbert and Rev. Joey Stewart.

The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home Carnesville. The family is at the home and they will receive friends from 2pm until 3pm at the church prior to the service. Flowers are welcome but those wishing to make memorials please do so to  New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Upkeep Fund, 1310 New Bethel Road, Carnesville, GA 30521.
