Stephen Mitchell “Steve Ragsdale, 71, of the prospect community passed away Saturday morning September 12, 2020.
Born June 6, 1949 in Toccoa, Georgia he was the son of the late Palmour Mitchell and Antoinette Akin Ragsdale. He was a retired abstractor and title examiner and operated S&R Title Service. He was a member of Prospect Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Angela McEntire Ragsdale; daughters, Stephenie Ragsdale, of Carnesville, Jessica Dodson, Lyndsay Webb, and Tate Ragsdale, all of Marietta. Brothers and sister-in-law, Bill Ragsdale Carnesville, and Mike & Elaine Ragsdale, Toccoa. five grandchildren, Ava, Alex, Maddie, Lucas, and Hannah; mother-in-law, Winifred McEntire.
Private family services are planned.
In lieu of flowers in honor of Steve the family request that memorials be made to the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter. Donations can be dropped off at the shelter or mailed to 870 Bear Creek Rd Lavonia, GA 30553. Our paypal is
