Sybilene Pritchett Neave, 77 of the Red Hill Community, passed away Tuesday morning, at the Sacred Heart Medical Center, Lavonia.
Born March 4, 1940, in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late William Spearman and Bessie Mae Lynch Pritchett. She was the mother of the late Bruce Edward Neave, and sister of the late Wilburn, Marlow, Donnie, and Tommy Pritchett. She was a waitress for many years with Goldmine and Dad's Restaurants, and as a spot welder for Aeroquip before retirement. She was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include, her daughter and son-in-law, Shelia and Danny Westbrooks, Royston; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Shelia Neave, Alto, GA, and Mike and Jill Neave, Seneca, SC; three grandchildren, Brian, Levi, and Taylor; one great-granddaughter, Nataleigh; one sister, Velma Moore, Castro Valley, CA.
Services will be 11am Thursday morning at New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Childress. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home Carnesville. The families are at their respective homes, and will receive friends from 6 until 8pm Wednesday evening.
