Herschel Leroy Durham Jr., 70 of the Eastanollee community of Stephens County passed away Wednesday evening, June 23 2022 at the North East Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

1951 in Greenville South Carolina he was the son of the late Herschel and Geneva Preal Turpin Durham. He was the husband of the late Annette Durham. And the brother of the late Helen Nichols, Jeannette Lollis, Joe Durham and James Durham. He was a veteran and served in the United States Army. He was a self-employed welder for Durham & Sons Welding.
Survivors include a son and daughter, Tim and Emily Durham of Carnesville GA, Rebecca and Tommy Chastain of Clarksville GA, and four step-sons and step-daughters William Wolfrey of North Carolina, Sarah and David Konkol of Tennesse, Markie Jones of Gainesville GA, Michael and Amy Duplaise and fourteen Grandchildren. Sisters Peggy Sawall and Eneree Bohannon of Georgia.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday evening at 7pm at the BD Ginn Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Grant Meyerholtz. The family will receive friends from 6pm until 7pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Condolences may be left at ginnfuneralhome.com.
